Great place. Cheap parking

Not free - is the only disadvantage. But very convenient for the beach. I park on the street but then I only come here when it's not too busy. A great place to start a walk across the Merthyr Mawr sand dune complex that lies beween Newton and Merthyr Mawr. See if you can find the spring but be careful you don't get lost or fall into any of the disused shooting range buildings.Explore and enjoy.
