This fish shop has gone down hill since the summer, frozen chips which tasted of card board and must have changed the gravy granules as it tasted bland and disgusting. I will not be going back there that's for sure. Beales every time.

Very busy at 6pm but staff were very efficient, good portions and hot and tasty food.
Shocking food. Not cheap and waited ages. Portion sizes are small. Chips are not even proper chips they are frozen chips which should make the service quicker. Oh and every mouthful was like having a mouthful of salt. Wouldn't eat there ever again not even if it was free.
Chip shops should not serve frozen chips. If a chip shop cannot make chips can they seriously be called a chip shop. They are taking advantage of being on the Caravan site. Best chip shop in Porthcawl is Beales.
