Great views of the harbour and coastline. Nice place to relax after taking your dog for a walk. There is a problem though with the time it takes to get your meal. The service is bad here and prices are too high.
Nice enough drinks but poor delivery of a simple concept . They simply cannot cope with the business levels and dont make this location easy to run for the staff. Maybe simplify your menu and you could fulfil a toasted tea cake in less time than 25 mins or buy a toaster for these (as you sell a lot rather than waiting to use turbo chef) Also strange way for taking food out to tables. Staff have no idea where food is going or who its for. The only reason people get their food is that they wait so long that people are calling on the staff every time someone walks past. Staff are nice enough but you need to employ some cleaners for the toilets.
This cafe is pay by card only (no cash) which puts some people off. It is quite busy and a lot of the seating is on long table and benches. On a nice day there is seating outdoors. In addition to a good selection of drinks they do a range of pasties. Reasonable prices. I go at least once a month, always enjoy a coffee looking out over the beach and coast of Porthcawl.
Nice coffee. Nice food. And you can take your dog there. Unfortunately I think my cat won't like it.
Lovely location is the only redeeming feature. Pay by card - take it or leave it - no cash accepted. Oven not working today. Have visited before and were unimpressed by cold jacket potatoes and plastic cutlery. Today there was, at least, a proper fork provided with cake.
